What to bring

  • Bring your passport (with at least 6 months' validity) as it may be checked upon entry to Ghibli Park.
  • Bring your physical ticket and voucher, as entry will not be allowed without them.

What’s not allowed

  • Large luggage (total height, width, and length exceeding 160 cm) is not allowed on non-reserved cars of the Tokaido Shinkansen. Please use a delivery service for oversized items.
  • Standing passengers are not allowed on the shared bus between Nagoya Station and Ghibli Park.
  • Entry to Ghibli Park is not permitted with a reservation confirmation sheet from the booking website or with a copied voucher.
  • Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.
  • Re-entry to each area in Ghibli Park is not allowed, except for the Valley of Witches.
  • Some facilities and play equipment may require separate fees and may be limited to children 12 years of age and younger.

Additional information

  • Tickets must be picked up at Kansai Tourist Information Center Kyoto from 3 days before the tour departure date until the day prior to departure. Ticket pick-up is not available on the day of booking or the day after booking.
  • The voucher is valid only on the specified date (and time if applicable).
  • Entry to Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse is at a designated time (10:00–11:00). Entry will be denied if you arrive late or forget your passport or ticket.
  • Children aged 4–11 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children aged 12+ are charged the adult rate. Children aged 0–3 are free if not occupying a separate seat.
  • Same-day admission tickets are required for The Okino Residence, Howl’s Castle, and The House of Witches (available for purchase in the Valley of Witches area; subject to availability).
  • Admission to Hill of Youth and Dondoko Forest is not included.
  • The tour is unguided and does not include meals or beverages.
  • The itinerary and transportation schedules may change due to traffic, weather, or operational reasons.
  • In case of full seating on the shared bus, you may need to wait for the next available bus. No refunds will be issued if you do not use the included transportation.
  • The last bus from Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park to Meitetsu Bus Center (Nagoya Station) departs at 17:30. Arrive early to ensure a seat.
  • The tour may be canceled if Ghibli Park is closed due to weather or other reasons. In such cases, you may reschedule or request a full refund.
